SUMMARY:Pine Shadows Field Trial Gunning Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Field Trial Gunning Workshop Summer 2024\nPine Shadows is hosting two summer workshops for all current trial gunners as well as anyone wanting to learn more about why gunners shoot the bird where they do in a field trial. \nThe workshops will be held Wednesday through Saturday just prior to the NMESSC scheduled Fun Trials upcoming in June\, and July. The workshops will start on Wednesdays and continue through Thursday\, Friday and cumulate with participants being able to shoot at the fun trial on Saturday. There will be dog training going on all three days for the workshop participants to get actual shooting situations over dogs and in trial situations. \nWorkshops are scheduled on the following dates:           \nJune 12 – 15 Wednesday thru Saturday at Pine Shadows \nJuly 10-13     Wednesday thru Saturday at Pine Shadows \nCome enjoy a four day continue education gunning seminar at Pine Shadows. For all stages of trial experience levels. Come for one day or all four days. Participants can attend one day or any of the days of the workshops. \nAdvanced level gunners come enjoy some shooting and round table discussion of situations with Mark and Morgan and other experienced trial gunners \nIntermittent level come and get some good experience shooting with the close eye of Morgan\, Mark and other experienced trial gunners watching and coaching. \nBeginner level come and get started shooting over dogs and see how the whole process works. \nParticipants will be getting good opportunities to shoot over many dogs and situations. \nAll you need to do is bring your gun and shooting gear.    \nIt is the goal of these workshops to provide an opportunity for gunners to come together and talk about trial situations\, proper gun handling and trial gunning\, etc. \nIt is our hope to get many experienced trial gunners to share their experiences and discuss situations. \nMorgan Haglin – ESSFTA Gun Chair 218.820.8815 \nMark Haglin – Pine Shadows 218.821.1295
