The North Dakota Sporting Spaniel Club is a dedicated group of individuals with one thing in common: promoting hunting spaniel breeds. In existence for over 15 years, the NDSSC’s membership is made up of hunters, field trialers and hunt testers.

On a typical fall weekend, you may run into one of our members hunting pheasant in a CRP field with his/her dogs or competing for ribbons and points in a field trial or hunt test. Also, we are fortunate to have nationally renowned professional trainers as members in the club.

Each year, the NDSSC hosts 2 English Springer and 2 English Cocker Field Trials and a Hunt Test. Competitors from all over the U.S. and Canada come to North Dakota to see if their dog has what it takes to win a ribbon.

We also have many training sessions that are conducted in small casual groups. We eagerly welcome those new to our events and are excited to help those new to the world of hunting spaniels.

So whether you are a seasoned hunter or competitor or just got your very first hunting dog, we hope you enjoy our website. If you would like more information, please contact our Club Secretary.
