RVSSC is holding a Seminar for Hunt Test Judges and Handlers in conjunction with our Spaniel Hunt Tests and Spaniel Water Test. THE SPANIEL HUNT TESTS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SEMINAR ARE OPEN TO ALL AKC ELIGIBLE BREEDS. THE SPANIEL WATER TEST WILL FOLLOW COMPLETION OF THE SATURDAY HUNT TEST AND IS OPEN TO ENGLISH SPRINGER SPANIELS, ENGLISH COCKER SPANIELS, AND COCKER SPANIELS. The Rogue Valley Sporting Spaniel Club invites you to our AKC Spaniel Hunt Test Judges & Handlers Seminar. The classroom portion will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 2:30 – 5:00 pm at the ODFW Denman Wildlife Area Offices, 13127 Agate Road, Eagle Point, OR. The Seminar will continue on Saturday, April 23, 2022 as part of the RVSSC Hunt Test held on grounds at the Denman Wildlife Refuge.
The seminar is for anyone interested in becoming a Hunt Test judge, for handlers wanting to know more about the test elements and what hunt test judges expect, and for current judges needing to meet the “seminar every five years” requirement.
Our presenter will be AKC Senior Field Rep Tom Meyer. The Hunt Test judges scheduled to preside at our Saturday and Sunday Hunt Tests will be joining Tom on a discussion panel.
