Dear Fellow Field Trialers,
The Northwest English Springer Spaniel Club is pleased to invite you to an AKC Licensed Springer Spaniel and Cocker Water Test and training session to be held on July 25, 2020 in North Plains, OR. We are very pleased to have Jerry Light and Bob Willis, both from Oregon, as our judges.
Training to start at 8am at Janet Christensen’s Farm, 33940 NW Mountaindale Rd, North Plains, OR. Training birds (pheasants) will be available for purchase for $8.00. You are free to air dogs at the training grounds.
Water Test to start not before 1pm at Krueger’s Pond, 21001 NW Dairy Creek Rd, North Plains, OR. Ducks will be used for the water test. All non-Springer Spaniel breeds may also use the water test as training but are not eligible for a water test completion certificate. They will run after the official water test. Cost is $25 and payable the day of the test. Please let the FT Secretary know in advance that you wish to participate so we can plan accordingly. Dogs are NOT allowed to run freely at the water test grounds and must be kept on a leash at all times unless under judgement during the water test.

We will be following AKC’s COVID-19 Suggested Best Practices for Spaniel Field Trials.
