The MN Heartland & MN English Springer Spaniel Clubs are hosting a Mock Field Trial on Sat., Sept. 8th starting at 9:00 am.

There will be one All-Age stake for both Amateur & Open dogs with a separate Puppy stake. The All-Age stake is designed to simulate an actual field trial competition allowing young dogs to gain experience while polishing up the older ones prior to the start of the fall campaign. Handlers will be allowed to correct to their dog during their run(s) and/or run with e-collars.

The All-Age will be run in braces and the Puppy in singles.Two birds will be planted for each dog per run: Puppy or All-Age.

Costs

The Puppy will be run on pigeons and cost $20 for one run.

The All-Age will be run on pheasants at a cost of $30 for 1 run or $50.00 for 2 runs.

Lunch will be included for all competitors.

Judges

Both stakes will be judged. Kevin Martineau & Mike Petrich are judging the All-Age stake and Rick Radtke & Terry Sworsky are judging the Puppy stake.
